Twenty years of getting the details right... so you don't have to.

My design career started in art production - scheduling photoshoots, color-correcting thousands of images, building out full product catalogs - work that taught me precision and consistency at scale. That standard has never left me.

As the industry shifted from print to pixels, that same precision carried me into web design. As the owner of my own graphic and web design consulting business, I helped small businesses build strong, memorable brands through thoughtful design and marketing. My services included custom WordPress website design and maintenance, branding and logo design, professional photography, search engine optimization (SEO), and the creation of print and digital marketing materials that helped businesses connect with their audiences. 

Later in my career, I joined a tech startup as its sole graphic designer, where I spent eight years shaping nearly every aspect of the company's visual brand. I designed and maintained multiple websites - including an e-commerce platform - created marketing collateral, trade show displays, social media graphics, and even designed the company's flagship product. It was my first opportunity to build a brand that not only looked great but also supported sales, marketing, and business growth.

My career eventually led me to the role of Communications Manager for an organization, where I combined everything I'd learned over the years. I oversaw website design and maintenance, photography, social media, and the development of marketing materials that helped communicate the company's expertise and connect with clients. It was the culmination of two decades of experience blending creativity, strategy, and technology.

Today, Sage + Summit Design Studio brings together two decades of experience working with businesses of all sizes. I've learned that great design isn't about following trends, it's about understanding your client's goals, telling their story, and creating work that's both beautiful and effective. That's the approach I bring to every project, whether it's a logo, a website, or an entire brand.
